A Prophetic Church For Prophetic Times

The Prophetic Destiny of the Church

When anyone attempts to be the source of all future knowledge of a living organism such as the Church the territory is wide open for speculation, misinterpretation, and accusation. The reality of bringing insights of a future event based upon the digression of humanities concept of God can bring people to a point of disheartenment, disillusionment, and ultimately disseverment of loyalties to truth.

When we examine the prospects of the 21st Century Church in light of prophetic Scriptures we find that the so-called spotless Bride is a far cry from the first depiction from the Lord.

All prophetic gifts that bring true enlightenment on a subject matter can only reveal the part that the Spirit has revealed to them, they see in part, and they reveal in part. Prior to beginning this writing, I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me:

“Human understanding is not revelation knowledge; human comprehension is the result of knowledge received that is understood; Revelation Knowledge is that which carries all aspects of divine involvements pertaining to the course of events, past, present, and future.”

The destiny of any organism of life is determined by what influences it.

Destiny as pertaining to a person is the inner purpose of life that can be discovered and realized.

Destiny as pertaining to the Church is the predetermined and inevitable series of events that happen.

It needs to be understood however that the will of man interrupts and even re-directs the effectual end based upon decisions acted upon.

One truth is constant whether agreed with or not, all humanity will stand before the Holy God and give account of the life lived which is God-given; thus, the destiny of the person will always end in the same place; the final destination is determined by the willful choices produced by the knowledge, and revelations received in that lifetime.

The prophetic destiny of the Church is already established, mankind is the content or life force of the Church in that each person is a spirit within the Spirit of the Church. The end time’s operations of the Church are so directed by the Holy Spirit according to the will of Father God.

The eventual end of the Church is prophesied to be the Bride of Christ, the adored and adorned of the Lord Jesus; however, only a remnant of that Bride is abiding in the understanding of what is holy, just, and righteous.

In the Old Testament prophetic standards were the ethic of the day, to walk contrary to the Word of God was to bring self into the veritable camp of one’s own judgment. Jesus came to offer man the redemption from that process.

Eli was a High Priest and Judge of Israel but he was corrupt inwardly because the system of his ethics was not rooted in God’s standard of righteousness; thus, he did not remove his sons from the positions he placed them in because of their adulterous and debauched behaviors.

The man of God visits Eli and declares the end of the sons because of Eli’s complacent and compromising posture. The man of God (prophet) speaks an interesting statement in verse 32 of First Samuel 2. We will read the entire prophecy given to Eli and then focus on the stated verse.

27.  And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?

28.  And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

29.  Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

30.  Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

31.  Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

32.  And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

33.  And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

34.  And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

35.  And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

36.  And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

Verse 32

32.  And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

What could this enemy be in God’s habitation?

Simply it is a religious system that avoids any opportunity to bring intimacy with God to the congregants of God’s house.

Today the Church is mirroring the fruits of the world in ways that they in charge think are unnoticed by the prophetic/apostolic gifts.

Prophets and Apostles are predestined according to God’s times and seasons to come forth with Words that zero in on calloused conscience and compromising conditions of the heart. When one heart repents it can affect the destiny pre-curser. The enemy in the camp disguised as eldership and church leaders find that their own moral integrity is suspect when the Spirit of the Lord begins to “plow up the fallow ground” thus turning over the rock that is under the rock. All things forever brought into the light where there is no hiding from the justness of true holiness in light.

I am one of “old-school” prophetic standard and as a New Testament Prophet/Illuminator I am privileged to see that which God wants addressed even when my personal want would be to not see them; hence, the dilemma of writing this epistle on prophetic destiny.

As a pastor of a growing prophetic church I am witness to the various levels of spiritual growth and the struggles that accompany each person in their desires to be more like Jesus. I have learned continuity of faith, and developed patience for people that others may find highly frustrating. I recognize that the human destiny is according to the personal faith of each individual. Ministry is not to control people lives, they are to guide, instruct, pray, and empower them. Love fails not except where self-will of ministry entangles itself with the self-will of the people.

The enemy in the God’s habitation can be the same spiritual source yet wear many varying coats of disguise. The same devil hides in churches until it can rear its head and cause misdirection of God’s purpose for one or many persons.

We know that ultimately Jesus’ Church will come forth in the brightness of His rising, or resurrection power; yet, prior to its rising will come the tumultuous upheaval of religious systems that have eaten away at the roots of faith like so many small foxes.

God has a desire with a destiny that exceeds the human concept in its simplicity.

35.  And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

When compromise is the rule of the day, Jesus speaks this spiritual truth.

Luke 16:15

15.  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

The future of the Church as a whole is individually determined; we must also remember that destiny is adjusted based upon actions of its parts.

All prophetic statements or prophecies pertaining to Christ’s return or Advent are as God spoke them, they are not partial, personal, or progressive; they will be as God said.

When we observe the direction the Church as a whole is heading we see that many parts of the Church are “deadwood” the glory or manifested presence of god in power is not present; the “Social Club Church” is going to be turned inside out and its roots exposed because Jesus loves the folks in these dead places as much as He does those that are viable, energetic, enthused, and alive unto God.

Very soon two prophetic operations are going to come forth, it will include two facets of prophetic/apostolic ministry; one will be to people, the other to God.

A prophetic force of light will evidence itself in the called offices of prophets, it will bring forth again the “Elijah Prophets”; and the other will be a spiritual rising up of the sons of Zadok, priest/judges prophetically that will minister unto God.

The Elijah ministers will come again in the operations of fire in worship and service, while the Zadok ministers will minister unto the Lord bringing again the glory into the house of the Lord in service.

Being in the house of God doesn’t mean that God is going to show up automatically; yes, God is omnipresent, however, a visitation from the Lord is a different matter totally. The Church has been drinking at a well that has been bringing forth stagnant water, bitter water that needs salt thrown in it again to make it sweet unto the Lord, and render refreshing to God’s people.

Some gifts from the Lord have been standing in offices or authorities that are not necessarily wrong, they just aren’t completely right either. Paradoxically called and anointed gifts in ministry do not find joy in their callings if they are filling a position that is not a purposed one of the Lord for them. Just being called to ministry doesn’t qualify the individual for wherever there is need of a body to fill it.

We have witness in God’s word as to what happens when man calls man and appoints him to positions he is not to stand in, whether because he is family, or talented, or has needed abilities; it is still attempting to place a square peg into a round whole.

One fruit of proper placement is joy! There is a love for God and the people when one is in the right place at the right time. People who strive with their callings or volunteer service, or even their occupations bear a fruit that can be revelatory to the fact they are not in the right place.

Of course, it varies with people, and some people are just natural complainers about everything, they are happy if they aren’t finding wrongs rather than focusing on the right.

Elijah prophets are going to be joined with Ezekiel types; the reality of these two anointings coming together will be Church altering, and flesh burning. Ezekiel had a calling that dug through what was seen into what was hidden. Elijah had an anointing that brought decision-making based solely in witnessed evidence from God which produced repentance.

These two also present a power punch that disrupts the status quo.

The Zadok anointing is also the anointing that is upon an intercessor that is called a “Remembrancer” because he or she brings God honor by putting Him in remembrance of the Covenant established in the blood of Jesus. As believers wake up to their ultimate responsibility unto the Lord they will find joy increasing in their obedience to walk in love; the fruit will abound when they seek the Lord for His own sake, not for what they want to gratify the flesh.

Depths of truth will surface at times of adversity due to the need, and because those who know the facts are not revealing them in order to hinder God’s operations for the sake of filthy lucre as the Sons of Samuel did in their ministry.

The destiny of the Church is not bleak because God has always had a remnant force of righteousness in His quiver, the fruit of the integrity of God will come forth unto the people in a Hallel shout. The battle cry is sounding from one of Heaven to the other; the galaxies feel the outrage of God at the perversities committed upon the Earth by reason of its people’s dark wickedness.

The Holy Fire Remnant will rise up out of the ashes of justice and herald in a Church of power, Elijah anointing will turn religious people into relationship seekers; Zadok offices will stir worship in the hearts of people as they come forth from the holy place and release His savour upon the masses present; the Ezekiel prophets will continue to reveal the aspirations of Heaven in words which create zeal, hunger, and movement within those seeking to be holy because God is holy.

Every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ has the privilege and the opportunity to become involved in what God is purposing for the Church; the times of restitution is at hand, and the season of transition unto blessing is at the door.

Jesus will do as Father has decreed from the beginning of all things; the destiny brings forth its own destination which is glory when it is walking in the fire of purity and release.

The houses of the flesh will be left desolate; the fruitful field will be the places of yielded hearts and joyful obedience to His righteous mandates.

Mankind will see that God is more than good; He is the source of all that is. The prophetic Destiny of the Church will be as God has willed it; we have the opportunity to be in that action by loving faithfulness to God.

The Lord has spoken again the words He spoke to Isaiah; the words are to His called five-fold, and those who are yet to be born. They are words that carry hope, promise, and destiny, if they are received so are the inherent anointing.

Isaiah 49:1-9

1.  Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

2.  And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a Polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

3.  And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

4.  Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.

5.  And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.

6.  And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

7.  Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

8.  Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

9.  That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

Those who have been hidden are coming forth, Jacob will again wrestle with the Angel of the Lord and many will walk in the Israel blessing; those who walk not in light will fade out of sight and be gone.

We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, called to offer up sacrifices of praise without bias and bigotry; without covetousness and complaining.

We are the generation that prepares the way of the Lord in holiness, righteousness and truth, thus the destiny of the Church is not bleak and dark, but empowered where people repent and worship purely the God of their salvation.

A coming forth of Ezekiel Prophets is even now upon the Church, many seers have seen that of the Father’s heart and have been drawn into deep intercession unto the Lord for a the holy remnant to stand strong and resolute according to Biblical truth and holiness; for the leaders of holy things have faltered and compromised because of worldly pressures; repentance can only be successful when that spirit has been confronted, exposed for what it is, then repentance becomes the balance point between righteousness and condemnation. They will do one or the other, repent or have the anointing removed.

Harsh you say? Not in light of how long the Lord has been log suffering concerning their actions.

Walking in uprightness isn’t impossible, it is done little by little, precept upon precept, line upon line; thus, holiness is ingrained in spirit, and resists the drawing of flesh.

The Prophetic Destiny of the Church is culminated by the believing or disbelieving people that make up its constituency. Let’s be a people that do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with their God.

Prophecy
"As you strive to walk with Me, says the Lord, you must maintain the pace, for I will do as I have said. in the race before us we will be strengthened by the might of the Lord. . . His victory and liberty are foundational, and instructional. They will be empowered who seek the presence of God with the wholeness of life and purpose. Being unmoveable in faith and in vision. The will of the Word will spring up and enlighten, the ascendancy of the Word of God must be preeminate. The Word is the crux of life. it is the nutrient the spirit cries out for and the soul craves. The soul can be fickle, why? because where the Word isn't being fed upon which is nourishment or food to the soul, the soul will seek elswhere for fulfilling its need for spiritual experience. It is the reason many are turning to wrong spirits and the influence of soul power, rather than the power of the true and living God. Man cries out for what is spiritual. It is a primary need to know the Creator. . . the spirit of man will seek in every direction until something satisfies the hunger for what is spirit. Offer that which is true, turn not from it to the left or the right, but, let your eyes look right on, and ponder the path of your feet.

In the hours, days, and months ahead opportunities will present themselves that would take you off of the right path, do not hearken to the wrong voice, stay intently in the presence of the Word. Pray without ceasing. Love unconditionally, but, do not compromise the Word of Truth. I will be with you, and I will move mightily in the midst of the people, and the Lord thy God will perform that which has been promised, and that which is fulfilled will give glory to God, and the Glory of God will dwell in the temples, which are the habitation of His Spirit, says the Lord."
